Rethinking API Management

From the Commit Up

APIGIT was born from a simple insight: the best place for API work is the same place developers already trust with their code—Git.

Frustrated by scattered portals and copy-paste hand-offs, a team of API practitioners set out in 2022 to build a platform that keeps every spec, mock, test, and doc on a native git repository, so collaboration feels as natural as git push.

What Drives Us

Our core values shape how we build and deliver our platform.

Git-Native

Every artifact in the API lifecycle—specifications, docs, mock scripts, test suites, even governance rules—lives in the same Git repository as your code. Familiar branching, pull-requests, and review workflows give you full history, auditability, and out-of-the-box CI/CD compatibility without adopting a separate portal or process.

Automation

APIGit removes manual hand-offs by tightly knitting design, documentation, mock-server generation, governance checks, and testing into one continuous flow. As you refine an API, the platform automatically renders live docs, spins up matching mocks, applies organizational rules, and keeps test cases in sync—so teams spend less time on busywork and more time on building value.

Collaboration

API creation is a team sport. Product managers shape endpoints in intuitive forms, developers fine-tune YAML in a full IDE, QA reviews smart diffs, and stakeholders browse polished docs—all on the same branch. Role-based permissions and threaded comments dissolve silos across functions and partner organizations, turning distributed contributors into one aligned product team.

Our Mission

To empower teams of every size to design, govern, and ship world-class APIs

All within the Git workflow they already love.
